We saw KL Sierra Navigator’s baby picture and fell in love…once we saw him in person, we knew that we had to add his spots to our herd.  Gator’s sire is Nakoma, who is a beautiful appaloosa out of Montezuma.  The dam, KL Crystal Lite, is a nice big girl out of Artico and a proven dam line of Kerry Lane Farms.

Gator has always had a spirited attitude, so he is great fun to be around.  Being an appaloosa, Gator is usually the first one to be “spotted” in the paddock.  We are hoping that he will enjoy doing some pack trips with us now that he is a gelding and doesn’t have his mind on the girls!  And, as a very wise woman once told me, “every farm needs a gelding in their herd!”
