Welcome to Meadow Dance Farm nestled in the cool mountains of North Georgia in Ellijay.  We are Mark, Celia, Skyler, Delaney, and Cougan and we are fortunate to share our lives with some very special friends: llamas, Shetland Sheepdogs, a Maremma (Livestock Guardian Dog), cats, Silkie chickens, black Cayuga ducks, and some guineas.
Our journey with llamas began in 1999 with 2 big females on our farm in NC. We had no idea just how much having llamas would impact our lives and our lifestyle. Homeschooling our children and running a llama farm continues to be an amazing learning opportunity. Another bonus that comes with being stewards of llamas is the stress relief you get when coming home to a llama hug and kiss after a long day at work. And, as a family, we enjoy going to llama shows, parades, school visits, and long hikes in the woods.
Even though we have a small family farm, we have always aspired to have superb quality in our herd. In our breeding program, we strive for excellence in conformation, disposition, and fiber by selectively breeding our finest llamas. Our llamas have been very successful in the showring, but it is imperative to us that we have llamas that are wonderful family companions. We usually have a variety of trained show and pet quality llamas available for sale, so if you are ready to bring a llama into your life…give us a call, drop us a line or stop on by — our llamas love company!
